Alpaca Elite, LLC ("Alpaca Elite", "AE" "alpacaelite.com") welcomes anyone to view its pages and use its search tools. By using the alpacaelite.com web site, you agree to, and accept the terms and conditions set forth below.

Use of the alpacaelite.com Site

While we allow anyone to view the information on alpacaelite.com, this in no way constitutes permission that the site in whole or in part, the data, information criteria-based listing system or results, text, images, design, color scheme, logo, site grahics, site code, or any other content can be reused, displayed, sold, used to create derivative work or products, or be distributed, either by human or automated means, for commercial purposes.

All content, as it is assembled and presented on this site, is the property of Alpaca Elite, LLC and is protected by U.S. and International copyright laws. If you wish to use the Alpaca Elite logo, or other content of this site, you need to get specific permission in writing from Alpaca Elite.

Other web sites are given permission to link to alpacaelite.com as long as the page linked to is displayed in its entirety (not framed or otherwise cropped), and that the identity and content of alpacaelite.com is not used to falsely give affiliation or endorsement to another business or individual, used for derogatory purposes or in any other way to misrepresent Alpaca Elite, its services, members, or the information presented on this site.

Membership Criteria

New members have to demonstrate, by providing ARI numbers and show records, that they meet one of the following two criteria:

Either: The applicant farm owns or jointly owns 7 Halter Color Champions/Reserve Champions*

Or: The applicant farm owns or jointly owns 3 or more Halter Color Champions/Reserve Champions* and has breda balance of Halter Color Champions/Reserve Champions* for a total of 7 (do not have to own bred animals or be recipient of their awards).

*Qualifying shows: All AOBA Certified, Ohio Triple Crown.

As of the date of this revision, there is no historical time limit on qualifying championship records. However, Alpaca Elite reserves the right to restrict the membership criteria to a certain historical time period from the date of application should this be appropriate in order to maintain the high standards and levels of quality deemed by Alpaca Elite, LLC and its advisors to be consistent with AlpacaElite.com's purposes. Members will be given reasonable notice in advance of any change in membership requirements.

Existing members are required to meet either of the two membership criteria above each year on the date of their membership renewal. Notification of the member's renewal date, and any action required by the member, will be sent to the email address provided in the membership application in a timely manner prior to the renewal date. Members may be required to verify current ownership of animals submitted for the previous year and provide additional ARI numbers and show records, if necessary, in order to verify that they still meet the membership criteria.

Existing members who are not able to meet the membership requirements on the date of renewal will be given thirty (30) days notice/grace period within which to demonstrate that they meet the membership requirements. If for any reason they are not able to verify that they meet the membership requirements or have not submitted payment of membership dues, their membership will expire and their account will be deactivated.

Expired memberships require re-application and are subject to the same application criteria and other restrictions as new applicants.

Alpaca Elite reserves the right to approve or refuse membership or service at our sole discretion. Alpaca Elite accepts no responsibility or liability for errors or omissions in third party records and information.

Alpaca Elite Certified Member Status

Only Alpaca Elite members who meet the membership criteria and are accepted as members are allowed to use the words "Alpaca Elite Certified Member" and corresponding logo. Certification as an Alpaca Elite member indicates ONLY that the entity or individual has been verified by Alpaca Elite as having met the membership criteria. Use of the words "Alpaca Elite Certified Member" and corresponding logo in no way implies warranty or certification of a member's business products, practices, or actions, by Alpaca Elite.

The words "Alpaca Elite Certified Member" and logo are to be used as issued by Alpaca Elite and are not to be modified edited or added to so as to change the appearance or intended meaning or used for derogatory purposes or in any other way to misrepresent Alpaca Elite, its services, members, and advertisers.

Documentation, marketing materials, business stationary, clothing, graphics, labels, pins, web sites, and other instances bearing the "Alpaca Elite Certified Member" words, logo or likeness are only to be used by active Alpaca Elite members. If a membership expires or is terminated for any reason, that member is to immediately cease using the said words and/ or logo in any way or othewise identifying themselves as an Alpaca Elite Certified Member.

Members and Advertisers: Rights, Responsibilities, Liability

Alpaca Elite members are responsible for their accounts, maintaining security of their account access and use, the information and content they upload to their account and the information and content that is displayed on their pages. Alpaca Elite assumes no responsibility or liability for the information and images that individual members upload and/or display on their pages and any claims of ownership or copyright infringement related to this content.

Alpaca Elite reserves the right to remove or edit member or advertiser content that is offensive, derogatory, or misrepresents Alpaca Elite or any of its members, cancel orders for advertising, and terminate accounts that are misused, abused, or are delinquent in payment(s), at our sole discretion.

While Alpaca Elite encourages professionalism and integrity of all the businesses represented and linked to on this site, it does not warrant, take responsibility or assume liability for the business products, practices, or actions of any individual, business entity or advertiser represented on this site. Therefore, users of this site are encouraged to review and evaluate a business and their statements and policies for themselves before doing business with them.

Compensation for Losses

While Alpaca Elite strives for 100% uptime with its servers it can not guarantee or warrant against interruptions to service or natural disasters. Alpaca Elite does not provide compensation for losses or other claims relating to interruptions of service due to natural disasters, interruption of utility service, to restart servers, install new equipment or for necessary site maintenance. Every effort will be made to avoid downtime and schedule maintenance for off-peak, non-business hours. Customers will be notified via email of any scheduled interruptions to service or account access.

Presentation and Modification of Content, Terms, and Policies

While Alpaca Elite attempts to be as accurate as possible with describing services and terms and conditions, we can not guarantee that the information presented on this site is complete and free from error. Any questions or clarifications should be addressed to Alpaca Elite in a prompt and timely manner.

Alpaca Elite is constantly improving our service to our members and as such modifications are often necessary to our site, its content, organization, tools, and appearance. While we make every attempt to make this a smooth and error-free process, Alpaca Elite does not warrant against claims of loss, loss of business, or productivity from such modifications.

Alpaca Elite reserves the right to modify our policies and Terms & Conditions at any time.
